Revelation 17
.
.
1 There came one of the stages of mental development with its lessons, communing with me and imparting, "Rise higher in thought; Spirit will reveal to you the judgment of the ultimate sensualist that relies upon commingling good and evil,
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 "With which worldly leaders have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of 'the deep darkness of belief^' have been made drunk with temptation by such fornication."
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So I was carried away by Spirit into solitude, and from there I could discern the sensualist and its darkness riding upon carnally valued^ illusions that were full of blasphemous expressions, headed by complete hatred and the negation of the Ten Commandments^.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the sensualist was arrayed in carnal values^, and decked with an appearance of great wealth, with its sufferings disguised as elegant pleasure^, but it was held in the grasp of an inverted power, full of abominations and the filthiness of fornication.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 Thereupon, in its foremost evil nature was an expression of its mystery written, "'Self-destroying error^' was conceived in great iniquity and brought forth by audible sin."
5 And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 So I discerned that the sensualist was drunken with the sacrificing of saints, and by sacrificing martyrs for Jesus, and when I beheld it, I wondered with great astonishment how this could come to be.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And this stage of mental development questioned me, "Wherefore did you marvel? Spirit will reveal the mystery of the sensualist, and of beastly lust that carries it, which is headed by hatred and the negation of the Ten Commandments^.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 "The beastly lust which you beheld as manifested is not real; it is the illusion of that infinite negation which must return to nothingness. Those dreamers whose characteristics are not included in the book of divine Life since the foundation of the world, that dwell on 'the deep darkness of belief^,' will be astonished when they behold beastly lust that was manifested yet is not actually real.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 "So here is the wisdom of Mind: the leadings by complete hatred are the entire mountainous obstructions upon which the sensualist is enthroned.
9 And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 "Now there are seven major worldly rulers; five rulers of physical sensation are fallen back into unreality, but another one still appears real, while one remains latent in thought and when that one appears, it can only seem real for a short while.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 "And beastly lust that appeared to be, but is not; even it is the outcome of worldly rule, yet goes into perdition.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 "Therefore the negation of the Ten Commandments^, which you discerned, are ten rulers which have received no kingdom as yet, but receive authority as worldly rulers by staying in time with beastly lust.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 "These have one mind, and will give up their power and strength to beastly lust.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 "These will struggle against the idea of sacrifice, but the spiritual idea will overcome them, for Love's idea is the Lord of lords and King of kings. So they that are found innocent are called, and are chosen, and remain faithful."
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him [are] called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 Now mental development revealed to me, "The commingling of good and evil, whereon the sensualist is enthroned, appears as person, place and thing.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 "So the negations of the Ten Commandments^ which you discerned about beastly lust, will destroy the sensualist, and will make that one desolate and naked, and will consume that one's flesh, and afflict that one.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 "For God has made it their intent to fulfill the divine will, to give their kingdom to beastly lust, until the words of God should be fulfilled.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 "And the sensualist which you discerned is the great citadel of deception, which reigns over the worldly.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
