KING JAMES VERSION
Revelation 10
Revelation 10
.
.
1 I discerned another mighty message, brought by harmony, and its features were crowned "by a bright promise^," having an enlightenment above physical knowledge, with "foundations of Truth and Love^."
1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 This message had, by reflected power, a little book for all to understand; the revealed Science of this book set its "dominant power ... upon elementary, latent error, the source of all error's visible forms^." And its "secondary power was exercised upon visible error and audible sin^."
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and [his] left [foot] on the earth,
3 Now the "inaudible voice... of scientific thought reaches... (the human mind)... 'as when a lion roareth^'"; this message arouses the final stages of evil to bring out its latent forces and uncover its secret modes.
3 And cried with a loud voice, as [when] a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
4 When the final stages of evil uttered its own mode of subtlety, I was about to describe it, but a message from the "reign of Spirit^" imparted to me: do not repeat what the final stages of evil utter, but conceal it in metaphor.
5 Now the mighty message of praise which I discerned, exercising power over error's latent and palpable forms, demonstrated its reflected power harmoniously.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And it testified of everlasting Life, the source of harmony and its fullness, and the reversal of visible error and audible sin^, including their beliefs, and the reversal of elementary, latent error^, including its visible forms^, that the illusion of time can no longer persist.
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7 But in the stages of enlightenment, when sound thinking begins to reach completion, the mystery of godliness should be unveiled, as it has been promised to the servants of Good, God's prophets.
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
8 Now the impartation which I understood from harmony came to me again, and inspired me to partake of the little book which is available by the power of divine thought. By it, it was seen that exalted thinking overcomes both latent and palpable forms of error.
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go [and] take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I was at one with the message of praise; now the inner thought came to me, declaring, "Partake of it, and let it fill your thought full of Truth and Love; yet digesting it will make the human experience bitter, but at first, it will be joyous."
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take [it], and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10 So I partook of the little book that proceeded from the reflected power of praise, and partook of it, and it was at first joyous, but as soon as I had digested it, the human experience became bitter.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
11 And this inner voice revealed to me: you must prophesy this before the multitudes of mankind.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
