THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
Matthew 24 Matthew 24
Jesus went out, departing from the temple, when his disciples came to show him the magnificent temple buildings. 1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to [him] for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Then Jesus asked them, "Do you not discern the meaning of all these things? Verily I tell you, there will not be left here one obstruction upon another that will not be brought down." 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
As he sat atop the mount of Olives, the disciples came privately to him, asking, "Tell us, when will these things occur? And what will be the appearing sign of your Truth, denoting the end of worldly beliefs^?" 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Answering them, Jesus said, "Watch that you are not deceived by any mortal. 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
"For many of those will come using my name, asserting, 'I am Truth,' thereby deceiving multitudes. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
"You will hear of wars fermenting, and of conflicts, but you should not be troubled, for all these things must come to pass until the end of travail. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
"For any finite form of government will work against itself, and the belief of carnal sovereignty will contend against itself, and in various places there will be famines, pestilence and earthquakes. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
"Yet all these things indicate the beginning of travail. 8 All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.
"Then they will persecute you unto death, and you will be hated by all finite forms of government for the sake of Truth. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
"Therefore will many reject the one Spirit, while betraying and hating each other. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
"Many false prophets will appear, deceiving multitudes. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
"Because iniquitous thinking will abound, the love of most will grow cold. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
"But the one who will abide in Truth until the end of travail, the same will 'gravitate from sense to Soul^.' 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
"This Truth of the sovereign almighty I-am will finally be preached throughout all the world, demonstrating Truth before all conditions of human thought, and then will the end of travail come. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
"When you therefore will see the desolation of malicious mind, spoken of by Daniel^ the prophet, appear to stand in place of the one infinite Mind, (whoever reads this let the same understand it), 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
"Then let those who are engrossed in brilliant materialism flee for the grand and noble ideas of infinite Spirit. 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
"Let not that one who has reached the apex of spirituality look back to take anything back from the carnal mind^. 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
"Neither let the one who reaches the spiritual field return to take back any garments of carnal sense. 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
"In those advanced days, woe unto those that still believe they are authors of mankind, and to those that believe they give life to mankind! 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
"But pray that your flight from the carnal mind does not take place near the extermination of matter's frozen forms, nor at the time when you should have entered God's holy rest 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
"For at that time there will be greater tribulation than there ever has been since the very beginning of worldly beliefs until this period, nor ever will be again. 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
"So that those days may be few, no carnal elements can be saved, but for the sake of scientifically spiritual thinkers those days will be few. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
"Then if anyone will declare to you, 'Look, here is Truth, or there,' believe it not. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not.
"For false way-showers and false prophets will appear, and will show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they will deceive the clearest thinkers. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
"Behold, I have warned you. 25 Behold, I have told you before.
"Wherefore if they will say to you, 'See, he is in the desert,' do not accept it; or, 'See, he is in secret chambers,' do not believe it. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not.
"For as the lightning appears out of the east, and shines even unto the west, likewise will the omnipresent Truth of man as the idea of God appear. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
"For wherever carnal thought dwells, there will those who prey on others gather together^. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
"Immediately after the tribulation of those latter days will the 'symbol of Soul^' appear to be darkened, and reflection will not appear to coincide with its source, and the harmonious will fall from their standard while the powers of harmony will be shaken. 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
"Then will appear the harmonious sign of the Truth of God's idea, causing all the sects which follow worldly standards to mourn, for they will discern the harmony of God's child, even through their beclouded senses, coming with sovereign power and great glory. 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
"Truth's holy thoughts, with a great sound of wisdom, will gather together clear, correct thinkers from the 'four cardinal points^' that mark progress, indicating the omnipotent movements of God's sovereignty, which encompass the entire range of harmony. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
"Now consider development of the fig tree: when its twigs become tender, and its leaves come forth, you know that summer is near; 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh:
"So likewise you, when you will see all these things, know that actual life is near, even at the portals of consciousness. 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors.
"Verily I tell you, the messianic age will not pass until this entire prophecy is fulfilled. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words of Truth can not pass away. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
"Yet no one knows of that day and hour, no, nor 'spiritual intuitions^', but only my parental, eternal Truth. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
"Yet, as the days of Noah were, so will also the coming of the truth about God's child be. 37 But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
"For, as in the days that came before a flood of carnal beliefs, they were eating and drinking, marrying and given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into 'the understanding of Spirit.' 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
"And they did not understand until the flood came, which took them all away; so also will the dawning of the truth about God's child be. 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
"Then two will be dwelling on the subject of one I-am; the one will embrace it and the other will reject it. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
"Two women will be tediously studying Ontology; the one will understand it, and the other reject it. 41 Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
"Watch therefore, for you do not know in what moment your Metaphysician may be negated. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
"But know this, that if the guard of consciousness^ had known in what way the mental thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his thinking to be broken up. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
"Therefore also be ready, for when your thought is not prepared, in that moment the reversal of the Truth of God's child appears. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
"Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom the divine Mind made ruler over a holy household, to give them the ultimate spiritual truth in due season? 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
"Blessed is that servant, who, when the Metaphysician appears, will be found faithful. 46 Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
"Verily I tell you, that servant will be made sovereign over all goodness. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
"But in the case of an evil servant who thinks, 'The appearance of spiritual Truth may be delayed,' 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
"And will begin to smite those who are fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 49 And shall begin to smite [his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
"The truth of that servant will come at a time when the same is not watching for it, and in a moment in which the servant is unaware. 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and in an hour that he is not aware of,
"The same will be cut asunder and placed with the hypocrites; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint [him] his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
