THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
Matthew 10 Matthew 10
When he had summoned his twelve disciples, he instructed them how to reverse the negative interpretation of Spirit, and how this reversal heals all manner of sickness and disease. 1 And when he had called unto [him] his twelve disciples, he gave them power [against] unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Now these are the names of Jesus' twelve apostles: The first, Simon, who is called a rock (Peter), and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James [the son] of Zebedee, and John his brother;
Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the publican (a tax collector); James the son of Alphaeus; and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; 3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James [the son] of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
Simon the Canaanite (a Zealot), and Judas Iscariot (a Judaean), who betrayed him. 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
Jesus sent forth these twelve, and commanded them, "Do not go into the way of the heathens, and do not enter that thinking in which the heretics dwell. 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any] city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
"But go rather to the lost followers of monotheism. 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
"And as you go, preach, declaring, 'Sovereign harmony is at hand.' 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out evils; you have freely received that divine Truth which is scientific, freely bestow it. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
"Do not provide for money in your purses^, 9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
"Nor provisions for your journey, neither an extra tunic, neither shoes, nor even a staff; for you are metaphysicians and worth your keep^. 10 Nor scrip for [your] journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
"Whenever you enter any city or town, find who is worthy to receive you and abide there until you continue on. 11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
"You should not enter mentally the 'personal precincts of human thought^' unless invited. 12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
"If their thought is receptive, Science will be discerned by them, but if they are not receptive, let your peace remain with you, not forcing it upon them. 13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
"Whoever will not receive you, nor perceive your meaning, then exclude any finite concepts from consciousness when you depart from that class of thinker. 14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
"Verily I tell you, at the time of judgment it will be more tolerable for those ignorantly pursuing sensuality than for those who knowingly refuse the light of Truth. 15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
"Behold, I send you forth as innocents in the midst of ravening animality; therefore, wisely avoid confrontation and let your aspirations be completely harmless. 16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
"But beware of men and their doctrines, for they will bring you before their councils, and they will punish you in their ecclesiastical institutions^. 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
"Because of me, you will be brought before pretenders of sovereignty, both governors and kings, to testify against them and the heathens^. 18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
"But when they arrest you, take no thought of what you will say, for at that time it will be revealed how you must speak. 19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
"For it is not you that speaks, but the spirit of God speaking as you. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
"Even brothers will betray brothers, and fathers their children to their death, and the children will rise against their parents to cause them to be put to death. 21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against [their] parents, and cause them to be put to death.
"And you will be hated by all mortals because of my spiritual nature, but he that endures until the end of persecution will be saved. 22 And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
"When they persecute you in one city, go to another; for verily I say, you will not have finished your ministry among Israel's factions before the Son of man is understood. 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
"The student is not above his teacher, nor the servant above his master. 24 The disciple is not above [his] master, nor the servant above his lord.
"It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant be as his master. If they have called the master metaphysician Beelzebub, how much more will they denounce his followers. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more [shall they call] them of his household?
"Therefore, do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor latent in thought that will not be known^. 26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
"What I teach to you during this darkened period, reveal it to enlightened^ thinkers; and what you discern, that preach from the highest state of mind^. 27 What I tell you in darkness, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, [that] preach ye upon the housetops.
"Do not obey those who kill the body, yet are unable to kill Soul; but rather obey God, who absolutely eliminates both material sense and carnal beliefs^. 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
"Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? But one of them cannot fall to the ground outside of God's safe-keeping^. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
"Even the very hairs of your head are preserved^. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
"Therefore, do not fear, you are of more value than flocks of sparrows^. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
"Therefore whoever will acknowledge my teachings before the people, also l will acknowledge that one before my all-harmonious Being^. 32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
"Yet whosoever will deny my teachings before the people, I will also deny that one before all-harmonious Being^. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
"Think not that I send peace to material sense; the Almighty does not give reassurance to false concepts, but severs them^. 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
"For the Almighty sets a man at variance against material fatherhood, and the daughter against material motherhood, and the married daughter against her belief in procreation as a human mother^. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
"One's only foes will be those which are of one's own creation^. 36 And a man's foes [shall be] they of his own household.
"The one who loves the ties of the flesh more than God's truth is not worthy of the divine Life; and who loves their own progeny more than the revelation of God's offspring is not worthy of my teachings^. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
"The one who follows not the divine way up to the crucifixion of all fleshly beliefs, is not worthy of my teachings. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
"The one that believes life to be in matter must lose that life; but the one that loses a material sense of life, according to my teachings, will find the Life divine. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
"He that understands you - my true followers - perceives me, and he that perceives me, perceives the divine Mind of which I am. 40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
"The one that perceives a prophet's teachings, in the nature of a prophet, will receive a prophet's reward; and the one that perceives the teachings of a righteous individual, in the nature of a righteous individual, will receive the reward of a righteous individual. 41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
"Whoever will, in my nature and because of me, respond to one of these, the least of my apostles, verily I tell you they will certainly not lose their reward." 42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
