GENESIS 46
1 So Israel took his journey with all that he had, and reached at-one-ment with God, at Beer-sheba, bringing out before the God of his father Isaac the inevitable sacrifice which attends a life in matter.
This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
2 When the personal senses were quiet, God revealed to Israel a vision, and he heard, "Jacob, O Jacob." He replied, "Here is the all-inclusive I-am."
.....
3 The revelation that followed was: "The almighty I-am is God, the God of your father; fear not to go down into Egypt, for I will usher forth a great state of consciousness through you.
.....
4 "The almighty I-am will be with you even in that state of magnetism called Egypt; and the almighty I-am will surely bring your people out again, and Joseph's example will comfort their departure by his spiritual power which coincides with your discernment."
.....
5 So Jacob continued on from Beer-sheba, and the sons of Israel transported Jacob, their father, and their household servants, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent for him.
.....
6 They had with them their cattle, and their belongings, which were acquired in the state of Canaan, and came into the magnetic state of Egypt - Jacob, and all his children with him;
.....
7 His sons, his grandsons, his daughters, his granddaughters and all his descendants were brought with him.
.....
8 Now these are the names of the sons of Israel who entered Egypt: Jacob's firstborn was Reuben.
.....
9 And Hanoch, Phallu, Hezron and Carmi were Reuben's sons.
.....
10 And the sons of Simeon were Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar and Shaul was his son by a Canaanite woman.
.....
11 And Gershon, Kobath and Merari were the sons of Levi.
.....
12 And Err^, Onan, Shelah, Pharez and Zerah were the sons of Judah; now Err^ and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And Hezron and Hamul were the sons of Pharez.
.....
13 Tola, Phuvah, Job and Shimron were the sons of Issachar.
.....
14 And Sered, Elon and Jahleel were the sons of Zebulun.
.....
15 They were the sons of Jacob by his first wife Leah, and she also gave birth to his daughter Dinah; these sons and his daughters were thirty three.
.....
16 And Ziphion, Haggi, Shuni, Ezbon, Eri, Arodi and Areli were the sons of Gad.
.....
17 And Jimnah, Ishuah, Isui, Beriah and Serah their sister were the children of Asher; Heber and Malchiel were his grandsons and the sons of Beriah.
.....
18 It was Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, that had these sixteen sons by Jacob.
.....
19 Joseph and Benjamin were Jabob's sons by his wife Rachel.
.....
20 Now in the state of Egypt, Asenath the daughter Potipherah, priest of On, gave birth to two of Jacob's grandsons whose names were Manasseh and Ephraim.
.....
21 And Belah, Becher, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim and Ard were the sons of Benjamin.
.....
22 They were the grandsons of Rachel, which she had with Jacob; there were fourteen in all.
.....
23 And Hushim was the son of Dan.
.....
24 And Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer and Shillem were the sons of Naphtali.
.....
25 They were the sons and grandsons of Bilhah, whom Laban had given to Rachel his daughter, and she gave birth to these for Jacob; there were seven in all.
.....
26 All those who came with Jacob to Egypt, who were his own descendants, besides Jacob's sons' wives, totaled sixty-six.
.....
27 With Joseph's two sons, which were born to him in Egypt, all those who were of the house of Jacob who came into Egypt, were seventy in number.
.....
28 And he sent Judah before him to Joseph, so that he might direct him to Goshen; then they came into the land of Goshen.
.....
29 Joseph was ready with his chariot, and at once went to Goshen to meet Israel, his father, and when he met him, he embraced him, weeping for a long time.
.....
30 Then Israel said to Joseph, "Now let my mortal body die, since I have seen your face and know that you are alive."
.....
31 Now Joseph said to his brothers, and to his father's household, "I will go to tell Pharaoh, 'My brothers and my father's household have come to me from the land of Canaan.
.....
32 "'And the men are shepherds, for their trade has been to keep cattle, and they have brought their flocks, their herds, and all that they have.'
.....
33 "So when Pharaoh calls for you, he will ask to know what your occupation is.
.....
34 "Then you must answer, 'Your servants' occupation has been keeping cattle since our youth until now, both we and our fathers,' that you may dwell in the land of Goshen, because every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians."
