THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
GENESIS 41 GENESIS 41

Two full years later Pharaoh dreamed, and his dream was that, as he was standing by the river, This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
He beheld seven healthy and fat cows coming up out of the river, and they fed in the reed grass. .....
Thereafter he beheld seven more cows coming up out of the river, ill and lean, and they stood by the other cows upon the brink of the river. .....
And the ill and lean cows ate the seven healthy and fat cows. Then Pharaoh awoke. .....
Now he slept and dreamed a second dream and in it seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, flourishing and luxuriant. .....
After that seven poor ears sprung up partched with the east wind. .....
And the seven poor ears devoured the seven flourishing and luxuriant ears, thereupon Pharaoh awoke to behold it to be a dream. .....
But in the morning his peace was disturbed, so he summoned all the hypnotists^ of Egypt, and all men wise in mysticism. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but none could interpret them for Pharaoh. .....
Then the chief cupbearer remembered his neglect and told Pharaoh that day, .....
"When Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put both me and the chief cook in the custody of the captain of the guard, .....
"We both had a dream the same night, each man dreamed differently according to his interpretation of life's illusions. .....
"And a young man was there with us, an Hebrew servant to the captain of the guard, and when we told him, he interpreted our dreams according to each man's illusions of life. .....
"So it happened just as he interpreted it to us; he restored me to my office, and the chief cook he had impaled on a pole." .....
Then Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought out of his dungeon after shaving himself and changing his clothing to come before Pharaoh. .....
Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I have dreamed a dream, but no one has been found who can interpret it, and I have heard that with your understanding you can interpret dreams. .....
Then Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, "Yet the understanding is not in me, it is of God who will set Pharaoh at peace with an interpretation." .....
So this is how Joseph discerned that which Pharaoh related: In his dream Pharaoh stood upon the brink of a channel of thought^, .....
And there came up out of that channel of thought^ all the children of Israel^, flourishing and proud, with their needs peacefully supplied. .....
Again there came up very weak and lean Israelites, worse than had ever been seen in Egypt. .....
And the lean and ill Israelites replaced the first prosperous children of Israel. .....
When they had replaced them, it could not be known that they had replaced them, because they were still disfavored as at the beginning. Then Pharaoh would awake. .....
Futhermore, Joseph discerned that Pharaoh saw and beheld in his second dream all the children of Israel from one stalk, flourishing and good. .....
Then Pharaoh beheld, springing up thereafter, all the children of Israel, withered, thin and blasted by the winds of oriental magnetism. .....
So the weak children of Israel replaced the prosperous and good ones, but Pharaoh's magicians could not fathom it. .....
Thereupon Joseph explained to Pharaoh, "Your dreams have the same interpretation, God has shown Pharaoh what is to occur. .....
"The seven good cows represent the factor of seven in mortal thought as seven prosperous periods of time, presently seven years, and the seven good ears represent the same concept, the dreams are the same. .....
"And the seven thin and ill favored cows that came up in mortal thought afterwards also represent seven poor years, and the seven empty ears blasted with the winds of oriental magnetism represent seven years of famine. .....
"This is the interpretation which I give to Pharaoh: God has shown Pharaoh what is about to occur. .....
"There is to be seven years of great abundance throughout all the state of Egypt. .....
"And there will be thereafter seven years of famine; and all the abundance will be forgotten in the state of Egypt as the famine consumes the Egyptian mind. .....
"So the abundance will not be remembered because of the following famine, for it will be very grievous. .....
"Since the interpretation is the same for both of Pharaoh's dreams, it is because the revelation is of Principle, and it will shortly be realized. .....
"Now therefore let Pharaoh find a man who is discreet and wise, and place him in charge of the state of Egypt. .....
"Let Pharaoh appoint officers over the state of Egypt to conserve one-fifth of the Egyptian national product during the seven abundant years. .....
"And let them gather food during the good years that are to come, and store grain under the control of Pharaoh, letting the food be stored in the cities. .....
"And the food that will be stored in the land will be available during the seven years of famine that will take place in the state of Egypt, so that the people will not perish during the famine." .....
And the counsel was good in the opinion of Pharaoh, and in the sight of all his advisors. .....
So Pharaoh asked his servants, "Can we find such a person as this one is, someone in whom the spirit of God is?" .....
Thereupon Pharaoh told Joseph, "Since God has revealed to you all this, there is none more discreet and wise than you are. .....
"You will be in charge of my affairs, and according to your command will all my subjects be ruled, only in the throne will I be above you." .....
Furthermore Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Know that I have put you in charge of all the state of Egypt." .....
So Pharaoh invested Joseph with full power over Egypt by putting his seal on Joseph's hand, and clothed him in fine linen according to his rank, confirming it by a gold chain with a scarabaeus around his neck. .....
And he made him to ride as second in command, and they announced before him, "Abrek," or kneel down, and he was made ruler over all the state of Egypt. .....
Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I am Pharaoh, but without your permission no one will take action in all the state of Egypt." .....
Pharaoh called the name of Joseph Zaphnath-Paaneah^; and he gave him Asenath^ in marriage, who was the daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of the sun, priest of Heliopolis. And Joseph went throughout Egypt. .....
Joseph was thirty years old when he began to serve Pharaoh, king of Egypt. So Joseph left Pharaoh's side and traveled throughout all the state of Egypt. .....
So in the seven abundant years the national product was plenteous. .....
During those seven years he collected all the food which was in the state of Egypt, and stored the food in the cities; the food of the field which was outside every city, he stored up in the same city. .....
Joseph collected corn in such amounts that it couldn't be recorded, so he didn't record it. .....
Now before the famine began, Joseph had two sons with Asenath, the daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of Heliopolis. .....
Joseph called the name of the first son Manasseh, because, he said, "God has made me to forget all my sorrow and all my father's house." .....
And the name of the second he called Ephraim, for God has reversed my state of affliction and brought out prosperity from adversity. .....
So the seven years of abundance in the state of Egypt came to an end. .....
And the seven years of dearth began, just as Joseph had foretold, and the dearth was in all the lands; yet in all the state of Egypt there was food. .....
When all the state of Egypt was famished, the people pleaded with Pharaoh for food, and Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, "Go to Joseph; do whatever he directs you to do." .....
The famine was held universally in mortal thought, and Joseph opened all the storehouses, selling to the Egyptians while the famine increased bitterly in the land of darkness. .....
At which all the countries came to Joseph in Egypt to buy food, because the famine was so bitter in every other country. .....
