GENESIS

THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
GENESIS 21 GENESIS 21
The promise of life touched Sarah's receptiveness and prepared thought as it had been declared, and it happened for Sarah as was foretold, And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
For Sarah perceived and presented a son to Abraham in his advanced years, at the set time which had been revealed to him. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
Joy constitutes man^, was how Abraham called the nature of his son that was given him, whom Sarah perceived with him, whom he named Isaac. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.
Accordingly Abraham severed the fleshly beliefs about his son Isaac, in the Jehovistic manner, but also in the manner that God had commanded him to do. And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.
When the advent of his son Isaac took place, Abraham was an hundred years old. And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
Now Sarah said, "God has made me to laugh for joy, so that all who perceive it will rejoice with me." And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.
And she added, "Who would have said to Abraham, that Sarah would have nursed a child? For I have delivered him a son in his old age." And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.
When the child grew and was weaned, Abraham made a great feast that same day that Isaac made a stride toward independence. And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.
Then Sarah saw the son of Hagar, the Egyptian, which she had delivered unto Abraham, mocking. And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
Wherefore she said to Abraham, "Cast out this bondwoman and her son, for the son of this bondwoman must not be heir with my son, nor equal with Isaac." Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
So this turn of events became very grievous to Abraham because of his son. And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.
But God revealed to Abraham, "Do not grieve because of the lad, nor because of your maidservant; in all that Sarah has said to you, heed her advice, for it is through Isaac that your progeny will discern my call. And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
"Also, I will manifest, after the character of this maidservant's son, a nation, because he is your offspring." And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.
Abraham rose up early in the morning, and enlightened Hagar as to spiritual Truth, and the usefulness of Mind's elements, putting it so that she could bare it. Then he sent her away with the child, and she departed to wander in the wilderness of human hopes - Beer-Sheba^. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.
Now when embodied human belief became exhausted, she put the child under one of the bushes. And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.
And in ignorance she assumed a position against him a good way off, as it were a lethal bowshot, for she thought, "Do not let me see the child's death." Yet unawares she had assumed a position against him, she wept with a loud voice. And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.
But God heard the voice of the lad, and the harmonious thoughts of divine Life concurred with Hagar's hope, revealing to her, "What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God hears the voice of the lad where he is. And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.
"Arise, lift up your perception of the lad, and hold him in the power of Spirit, for the almighty I-am will make him a great patriarch." Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.
As her understanding opened to divine Mind, she perceived the source of Mind's elements; and she filled her thought with inspiration from divine Mind, which refreshed the lad. And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
So God was with the lad, and he grew and dwelt in the wilderness of the higher human hopes, becoming an archer. And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.
While he dwelt in the wilderness of human hopes in Paran, his mother found for him a wife from the land of Egypt. And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.
Now it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and the chief captain of his guard, Phichol, spoke to Abraham, saying, "God is with you in all that you do; And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:
"Now therefore swear to me here, by God, that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with his son. But you will return the kindness that I have shown you, which likewise you will accord to me, and for the land wherein you have sojourned." Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.
Abraham replied, "I swear it." And Abraham said, I will swear.
But Abraham reproved Abimele because of a water well, which Abimelech's servants had violently taken away. And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech's servants had violently taken away.
Thereupon Abimelech exclaimed, "I do not know who has committed this offense: netiher did you advise me, nor had I heard about it before today." And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing; neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.
Then Abraham took sheep and oxen, to give them to Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant. And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.
And Abraham set apart seven female sheep to represent complete blamelessness. And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.
And Abimelech asked Abraham, "What is the meaning of this act of setting these sheep apart?" And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?
He replied, "For this represents complete blamelessness by which you will take an oath, that it may witness to me that I have dug this well." And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.
Therefore he called that place Beersheba; because there they swore an oath between them. Wherefore he called that place Beersheba; because there they sware both of them.
Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba; then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his guard, returned to the land of the Philistines. Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.
Abraham planted a tree - a symbol of life - in Beer-Sheba, declaring there the nature of the Lord, the everlasting God. And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.
And Abraham remained in the Philistines' land for sometime. And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines' land many days.
