THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
GENESIS 4                                            GENESIS 4
Adam beckoned^ Eve, his wife, to conceive, and she gave birth to Cain, declaring, "I have conceived the human manifestation of Jehovah." And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
And again she conceived and had his brother Abel who became a steward of innocence, but Cain toiled in the field of matter. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
In process of time, it happened that Cain brought, as an offering to Jehovah, the fruit of material sense. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
Also, Abel brought of the beginnings of his innocence and the potential thereof. Now Jehovah respected Abel's offering. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
But Jehovah had no respect for Cain or his offering, which enraged Cain, hurting his pride. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
At which theology had these questions for Cain, "Why are you enraged, and why is your pride hurt? And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
"If you do well, will you not be divinely authorized? But if you do not do well, sin lies crouching at the threshold of thought, and it intends to control you, but you may overrule it." If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
So Cain talked with Abel his brother, and it came to pass, when they were in the field of material sense, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and killed him. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
Again theology questioned Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?" At which he asserted, "I know not. Am I my brother's keeper?" And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
But he pondered, "What have I done? The voice of my brother's life is crying to me from beyond material sense. And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
"Now I am cursed by earthly belief, which has openly taken my brother's life by the so-called power of my own hand; And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
"When I toil in the ground, it will not henceforth yield to me its strength; fleeting and erratic will I be in the earth." When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
So Cain cried unto Jehovah, "My punishment is greater than I can withstand. And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
"Today I am driven out from the face of immortality and from it will I be hidden, and I will become fleeting and erratic so it will happen that every truth which identifies me will eliminate what I symbolize." Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
Therefore the Jehovistic adage is: Whoever slays Cain, complete vengeance will be taken on him, and justice will set a mark^ upon Cain, lest any finding him might kill him. And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
Cain left the presence of a higher goodness to dwell in dreamland^ - in the belief of bodily sensation. And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
Then Cain beckoned his wife to conceive, so he became the ancestor of Enoch, and built a citadel after the consensus of human belief. And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
Irad was born to Enoch; and Irad fathered Mehujael; and Mehujael fathered Methusael; and Methusael fathered Lamech. And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
Lamech married twice. His wives' names were Adah and Zillah. And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
And Adah mothered Jabal who initiated the pastoral life. And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
His brother's name was Jubal who initiated playing the harp and the musical pipe. And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
And Zillah mothered Tubal-Cain, an instructor of all craftsmen of bronze and iron. The sister of Tubal-Cain was Naamah. And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
Lamech said to his wives, "Adah and Zillah, listen, my wives, to me, pay attention to my words; should I kill a man for wounding me, and a young man for harming me? And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
"If Cain will be avenged seven times, then truly Lamech would be avenged seventy-seven times." If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
And Adam beckoned his wife again to give birth to a son, and called his name Seth, saying, "For God has appointed me another offspring in place of Abel, whom Cain killed." And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
Also a son was born to Seth, and he called his name Enos; then men began to examine the nature of Jehovah. And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
