Exodus 39

1 "Also, from blue, purple and scarlet^ fiber, he had them make the holy garments for Aaron the priest to adorn him when teaching in the priest's office, and he had them make holy garments for his sons.
This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
2 Then he had them make the vest of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet^ fiber, and of finely entwined linen.
.....
3 The gold was worked into thin sheets and then cut into strands so that with skilled workmanship it could be woven into the blue, purple and scarlet^ fabric and fine linen.
.....
4 Two shoulder pieces were made for the vest and attached to two of its edges, so it could be fastened together.
.....
5 Also its waistband was skillfully woven and made with gold, and with blue, purple and scarlet^ fiber, and finely entwined linen, and it was of one piece with the vest.
.....
6 And in gold filigree settings, he had them mount onyx stones on which the names of the sons of Israel were engraved like signets are fashioned.
.....
7 As the Lord had commanded Moses, he instructed them to fasten them on the shoulders of the vest as symbolic stones for the sons of Israel.
.....
8 Then, by the work of a skilled craftsman, like the work of the vest, he had them fashion a breastplate^ which was made out of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet^ fiber, and of finely entwined linen^.
.....
9 It was made foursquare^, a span long and a span wide, and folded double.
.....
10 Then he had them mount four rows of precious stones^ upon it. On the first row he had set a red jasper, a very large topaz and an emerald;
.....
11 And on the second row he had set a red garnet, a lapis lazuli, and an onyx;
.....
12 And a yellow agate, a black and white agate, and an amethyst were mounted on the third row;
.....
13 Then he had them mount on the fourth row a yellow jasper, a beryl, a dark green jasper. He had them mounted in gold filigree settings.
.....
14 He had them use twelve stones, one for each of the names of the sons of Israel and each had the name of one of the twelve tribes engraved upon it like a signet.
.....
15 For the breastplate^ he had them make chains of pure gold, braided in the form of a wreath.
.....
16 Its two rings were fashioned out of gold and attached to the two corners of the breastplate^. Then two gold filigree settings were made.
.....
17 Two gold chains were attached to the rings at the corners of the breastplate^.
.....
18 The other ends of the chains were attached to the two settings, fastening them to the jeweled ornaments at the shoulder of the vest at the front.
.....
19 And he had them fashion out of gold two rings and they attached them to the other two corners of the breastplate^ on the inside edge next to the vest.
.....
20 Two more rings were also fashioned from gold and attached to the bottom of the shoulder pieces on the front of the vest, close to the edge just above the embroidered waistband of the vest.
.....
21 The rings of the breastplate^ were tied to the rings of the vest with blue lace, connecting it to the embroidered waistband so that the breastplate^ would not swing out from the vest, just as the Lord had commanded.
.....
22 The robe of the vest was woven entirely from blue cloth,
.....
23 With a center opening for the head. A seam was woven around this opening so that it will not tear.
.....
24 Then he instructed them to fashion pomegranates from blue, purple and scarlet^ fiber and fine linen around the edge of the robe,
.....
25 And pure gold bells were placed between them so that the gold bells and the pomegranates alternated around the edge of the robe.
.....
26 Now a pattern consisting of alternating gold bells and pomegranates on the robe's hem was worn as a symbol when teaching, according to the Lord's command.
.....
27 And tunics of fine linen were made for Aaron and his sons.
.....
28 Also the turban and the headband were made for them out of fine linen, and their undergarments were made of finely entwined linen.
.....
29 And a waistband was embroidered from finely entwined linen, and from blue, purple and scarlet^ fiber, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
.....
30 And from pure gold a royal diadem^ was fashioned and upon it, as on a signet, these words were engraved: "Purity leads to the Lord."
.....
31 With blue lace it was attached to the turban and placed high.
.....
32 This completed the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, which the children of Israel finished according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses.
.....
33 And then they presented the tabernacle to Moses, along with all of its furnishings, its clasps, its frames, its crossbars, pillars and bases;
.....
34 Its coverings of red sheep leather and badger skins, and its veil;
.....
35 The chest holding the testimony, and its shafts and seat for the forgivness of sins;
.....
36 The table along with all of its articles, and the symbolic shewbread^;
.....
37 The pure golden candlestick^ with its rows of lamps, and all its articles and oil for light;
.....
38 The golden altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense and the curtain for the tabernacle's portal;
.....
39 The brass altar, its brass grate, its shafts and its articles, and the basin and its stand;
.....
40 The curtains for the courtyard along with its pillars and bases, and the curtain for the courtyard portal, its pegs and ropes; and all the furniture for the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation.
.....
41 And the clothing for serving in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his son's garments when teaching in the priest's office.
.....
42 So the children of Israel performed all the work that Moses was commanded to do by the Lord.
.....
43 And Moses inspected all their work and found that they had done it according to the command of the Lord. So Moses did bless them there.
