THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
Exodus 28 Exodus 28
. .
"Take your brother Aaron with his sons and distinguish them from the rest of the people, so that they might serve me as priests after the Order of Melchizedek^, include Aaron, Nabad, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons. This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
"Clothe your brother Aaron in glory and grace by the holy spirit. .....
"And you must speak to those with a receptive heart, whom the almighty I-am has filled with the spirit of wisdom, so that they may see Aaron clothed in the divine nature and consecrated accordingly, and so that he may perform the office of priest. .....
"They are to make these symbolic garments: a breastplate^, a vest, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban and a sash. These symbolic garments are to be fashioned for your brother Aaron and his sons in which they may serve me as priests. .....
"They must work with gold, blue, purple and scarlet^ fiber, and fine linen. .....
"The vest must be made of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet fiber, and of finely entwined linen. .....
"Make for it two shoulder pieces attached to two of its edges, so it can be fastened together. .....
"Also its waistband is to be skillfully woven and made with gold, and with purple and scarlet fiber, and finely entwined linen, and it is to be of one piece with the vest. .....
"On two onyx stones engrave the names of the sons of Israel. .....
"The names should appear in the order of their birth with the first six names on one stone and the last six in order on the other stone. .....
"The names of the sons of Israel are to be engraved on the two stones like a craftsman engraves a signet. Use gold filigree settings when mounting the stones. .....
"Then they should be fastened on the shoulder pieces of the vest as symbolic stones for the sons of Israel. Aaron is to bear their names on his shoulders as a symbol before the Lord. .....
"Fashion settings of gold filigree, .....
"And fashion out of pure gold two braided chains, attaching the chains to the settings. .....
"By the work of a skilled craftsman, fashion a breastplate^ symbolic of perfection and light." Also make it out of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet fiber, and of finely entwined linen as you made the vest. .....
"Make it foursquare - a span long and a span wide - and fold it double. .....
"Then four rows of precious stones should be mounted upon it. Mount on the first row a red jasper, a very large topaz, and an emerald; .....
"And on the second row mount a red garnet, a lapis lazuli, and an onyx; .....
"A yellow agate, a black and white agate, and an amethyst should be mounted on the third row; .....
"Mount on the fourth row a yellow jasper, a beryl, a dark green jasper. They should be mounted in gold filigree settings. .....
"You are to use twelve stones, one for each of the names of the sons of Israel and each to have the name of one of the twelve tribes engraved upon it like a signet. .....
"For the breastplate^ make chains of pure gold, braided in the form of a wreath. .....
"Fashion out of gold two rings for it and attach them to two corners of the breastplate^. .....
"The two gold chains are to be attached to the rings at the corners of the breastplate^. .....
"And attach the other ends of the chains to the two settings, fastening them to the jeweled ornaments at the shoulder of the vest at the front. .....
"Fashion out of gold two rings and attach them to the other two corners of the breastplate^ on the inside edge next to the vest. .....
"And fashion two more rings from gold and attach them to the bottom of the shoulder pieces on the front of the vest, close to the edge just above the embroidered waistband of the vest. .....
"Tie the rings of the breastplate^ to the rings of the vest with blue lace, connecting it to the embroidered waistband, so that the breastplate^ will not swing out from the vest. .....
"Aaron will symbolically carry the individual natures of the children of Israel, guarded^ by righteous affections, when communing with divine Mind for a continuous affirmation before the Lord. .....
"The emotions must be guarded^ with righteous judgment - enlightenment and perfection must be the essence of Aaron's affections when communing with the Lord, and when Aaron leads the children of Israel by his affections before the Lord continually. .....
"The robe of the vest must be fashioned entirely from blue cloth, .....
"With a center opening for the head. Weave a seam around this opening so that it will not tear. .....
"Fashion pomegranates from blue, purple and scarlet fiber around the edge of the robe, and place gold bells between them. .....
"Alternate the gold bells and the pomegranates around the edge of the robe. .....
"Now this is what Aaron must wear as a symbol when teaching. The notes of wisdom^ will be heard when he sows and reaps by the presence of the holy Spirit so that divine Being may not be carelessly approached. .....
"From pure gold you must fashion a plate and engrave upon it, as on a signet, these words: "Purity leads to the Lord." .....
"And with blue lace, attach it to the turban; place it on the front of the turban. .....
"Yet it will symbolically mock Aaron as a sign of ignorance on his forehead, that he bear the iniquity of the material offerings that the children of Israel hallowed in all their sacrifices; and so it will continue to mock until their practice is acceptable to the Lord. .....
"Now the tunic and the turban is to be woven from fine linen. The sash is to be embroidered by a craftsman. .....
"Tunics, sashes and headbands are to be made for Aaron's sons, to symbolize glory and grace. .....
"Anoint and ordain your brother Aaron and his sons after you put these symbolic clothes on them; consecrate and sanctify them that they may serve me in the priest's office. .....
"Make linen undergarmets as a symbolic covering for their shame, reaching from the waist downward. .....
"The reproach of Aaron and his sons was dissimulated when they met with the congregation or when they came near the divinely elevated precept to serve divine Mind that their ignorance bear not iniquity unto death, and this forever remains a rule for them and those who follow them." .....
