KING JAMES VERSION
Exodus 24
Exodus 24
.
.
1 It was divinely revealed to Moses, with Aaron, Nabad^, Abihu^ and seventy of the leaders of Israel, "Commune with the Lord, let them worship from their level of spiritual attainment.
This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
2 "But by Moses' sole moral standard will he come nearer the source of Being, without which they cannot come near, nor reach for the utmost heights of Mind along with him."
.....
3 So Moses set forth for the people all the words of the Lord, and all the commandments, and the people were at one in their response, answering, "We will obey all the commandments of the Lord."
.....
4 Then Moses recorded all the words of the Lord, and arose early in the morning to build an altar as the starting-point^ of spiritual growth, with twelve pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel.
.....
5 He sent young men of the children of Israel to offer the carnal instincts purified and to sacrifice the burden of lust for the Lord.
.....
6 So Moses, in duty to God's equipollence, equally placed the essence of life between the crucible of human resolve and the sanctification of elevated thought.
.....
7 Then he took the testament of the covenant to read to the audience of the people, and they agreed that all which the Lord commanded, they would obey.
.....
8 Moses then sanctified the people and declared, "Behold, the essence of the covenant which the Lord has made with you concerning all these commandments."
.....
9 Thereupon, Moses, with Aaron, and Nadab, and Abihu and seventy leaders of Israel scaled higher in divine Being.
.....
10 They discerned^ the eternal I-am of Israel, and there was, as a support of understanding, an unyielding, bejeweled path of Truth, as it were the embodiment of harmony in its purity.
.....
11 Upon the nobles of the children of Israel, God gave not divine privilege, but they also discerned the one I-am, and were refreshed.
.....
12 So the Lord directed Moses to the zenith of understanding and declared it to be his very being, revealing that he would receive an index of Truth, and a law and commandments^ that the omniscient I-am has prepared, so that Moses may teach them.
.....
13 Then Moses rose in spirit, with his minister Joshua, and Moses reached the zenith of divine understanding.
.....
14 And he said to the leaders, "Wait here for us until we return back again to you; and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you; if anyone have any matter to judge, let it be brought before them."
.....
15 Now Moses ascended the mighty wonders of Mind, but for the people the marvels were beclouded.
.....
16 Yet the glory of the Lord dwelled where all is good, but that glory was beclouded even up to the sixth insight of unfoldment; so complete enlightenment came to Moses from the positive interpretation of the negation of Truth.
.....
17 And discernment of the glory of the omnipotent I-am is, for the children of Israel, likened to consuming, effulgent love at the zenith of realization.
.....
18 Moses went into the midst of the negation of One-ego and gained a triumph above the clouds of sense; now Moses spent forty days and forty nights^ in divine realization.
