THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE
KING JAMES VERSION
Exodus 20
Exodus 20
.
.
1 God revealed all these commandments:
This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
2 "The almighty I-am is the Lord your God, which brings you out of a hypnotic state^, out of Egyptian mental bondage.
.....
3 "You must have no other life nor mind beside God, the divine Mind^.
.....
4 "You must not make real for yourself any object, nor any likeness of anything, whether from harmony, or from material sense^, or from tempestuous carnal beliefs about the earth.
.....
5 "You must not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them, for the infinite I-am is the all-inclusive^ God, negating the iniquity of the fathers and of their offspring that deny me, until resurrection and spiritual progress is confirmed.
.....
6 "But showing goodness to countless generations^ of disciples that love me and keep my commandments.
.....
7 "You must not act in the name of the almighty I-am with deceptive vainity, for God will not hold him guiltless that acts vanity in the name of the infinite I-am.
.....
8 "Remember the numerals of complete achievement on the sabbath to keep it holy.
.....
9 "You have spiritual work to do in the steps toward reaching complete enlightenment, so thereby do all your work.
.....
10 "But the sabbath represents God's crowning enlightenment; thereby your work in reaching the spiritual ultimate is rewarded by holy rest, and also with whomever your thoughts abide, they also find holy rest; and the stranger^ within, divine Science, is at rest.
.....
11 "For by six successive steps of enlightenment the Lord revealed positive truth and negative error, the surging sea of human fear^, with all that includes, and rested upon the Lord's final call of wisdom.
.....
12 "Honor your father and your mother, that longevity may be yours in the state of mind that your parental Principle has given you.
.....
13 "You cannot 'strike at the eternal sense of Life with a malicious aim^' without forfeiting your own sense of Life.
.....
14 "You must not adulterate the Science of being, 'mentally, morally, or physically^.'
.....
15 "You must not steal^.
.....
16 "You must not 'utter a lie, either mentally or audibly, nor cause it to be thought^.'"
.....
17 "You must not covet the property of others, nor the wife of another, nor the household servants of another, nor anything that belongs to someone else."
.....
18 All the people discerned a thunderous magnetic disturbance^, and the call of the trumpet-word^, but that Mind's ascent was beclouded; when the people discerned it, they pulled back and took their stand far away.
.....
19 So they said to Moses, "Commune with us and we will perceive, but do not let God commune directly with us, lest we be tossed into oblivion."
.....
20 Then Moses said to the people, "Do not fear, God's presence serves to prove you, so that the honor of God may be before you that you sin not."
.....
21 Yet the people took their stand far away, but Moses drew near up to what appeared to the people as an obscuring darkness, but to Moses' view it was the very presence of God in light.
.....
22 So the Lord revealed to Moses, "You will inform the children of Israel that you have discerned the infinite I-am which communed with you in harmony, and teach them:
.....
23 "You must not make gold or silver your gods.
.....
24 "You will dedicate to me the mental sphere, demanding a sacrifice of any carnal selfhood; and purified, you must practice peace and gentleness, giving me your burdens, and where I cause my nature to be remembered, I, the one and only I-am, will commune with you and bless you.
.....
25 "And if you make an altar of truth, it must not be unnatural or modified, for if you touch it with human concepts, you pollute it.
.....
26 "Neither should you attempt to ascend^ my altar by man made means, so that your shame will not be discovered."
