THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
Exodus 17 Exodus 17
. .
All the congregation of Israel journeyed from the desolation of Adamic belief, as the Lord commanded, and found rest in Rephidim^, but there was no water for the people. This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
So the people quarreled with Moses and said, "Give us water that we may drink." Then Moses replied to them, "Why quarrel with me? Do you challenge the Lord?" .....
Yet the people were thirsty for water as they quarreled with Moses and said, "Why did you bring us out of Egypt to kill us, our children and our cattle with thirst?" .....
Then Moses cried out to the Lord, pleading, "What will I do for this people? They are almost ready to stone me." .....
Now the Lord revealed to Moses, "Go before the people and take with you the leaders of Israel, and go with the discipline of divine Principle, wherewith you severed the tendency of Adamic thought; go with your reflected power. .....
"Behold, I, the one and only I-am, will stand before you and you must strike their chilly, obstinate concept of parched Horeb^, and you will see water released, and Horeb's rock will allow them water, so that they may drink." Moses did so before the leaders of Israel. .....
And he called the name of the place Massah^, and Meribah^, because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they challenged the Lord, saying, "Is the Lord among us, or not?" .....
Then the Amalekites^ came and fought against Israel in Rephidim. .....
Now Moses ordered Joshua, "Choose men to defend us from the Amalekites, for tomorrow I will scale the heights of Mind and take my stand there with the grace of God as my force." .....
So Joshua did as Moses had ordered and fought against Amalek while Moses, Aaron and Hur scaled the heights of Mind. .....
When Moses held up his reflected force, Israel prevailed, and when he let down that power, Amalek prevailed. .....
Moses' spiritual work became burdensome, so they helped him with a spiritual foundation whereon he rested, and Aaron and Hur helped him to hold onto the force of Spirit, one handling the affirmation of Spirit, the other its denial, and his force was steady until the light fled. .....
So Joshua defeated the Amalekites by the power of Truth's idea^. .....
Then Lord revealed to Moses, "Write this for a testament in a book, and rehearse it for Joshua's perception, for I, the one and only I-am, will utterly put out the false ego of the Amalekites from harmonious Being." .....
And Moses built an altar to signify divine communion, for God is the only Ego^. .....
For he declared, "The Lord will negate any false ego of the Amalekites from generation to generation." .....
