THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
Exodus 16 Exodus 16
. .
The Israelites journeyed from Elim, and they all arrived in the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after leaving the state of Egyptian magnetism. This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
Now the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. .....
This is what the children of Israel said to them, "Would to God we had died by the hand of the Lord in the state of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots and could eat food until we were full; but you have brought us to this barren state to kill our whole assembly with hunger." .....
Then the Lord revealed to Moses, "Behold, I, the infinite I-am, will provide harmonious^ truth, your daily bread; and the people will gather only that food which meets their need, so that I may test them to see if they will follow my law or not. .....
"And it must be that on the sixth day they should bring in and prepare twice as much as they gather daily." .....
So Moses and Aaron instructed all the children of Israel, saying, "When the view of the Lord is obscured, even then you can know the Lord that delivered you out of a state of hypnotic bondage^. .....
"But when enlightened, you will see the glory of the Lord, for your complaints against the Lord are met, but why are you complaining against us?" .....
Now Moses declared, "It will be that the Lord, when obscured by your fleshly beliefs, will nourish you with flesh, but when you are enlightened, you will be nourished to the full by daily truth^. Your complaints against the Lord are met. But who are we? Your complaints are not against us, but against the Lord." .....
Then Moses spoke to Aaron, "Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, 'Come nearer the almighty I-am, for your complaints are met.'" .....
And it happened, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that their senses were darkened, but behold, the glory of God appeared in a reversal of the beclouded senses. .....
Then the Lord revealed to Moses, .....
"The complaints of the children of Israel are met; tell them, 'When unenlightened, they will partake of the flesh, but when enlightened, they will be filled with truth, which is their daily bread. With this you will know that the infinite I-am is the Lord your God.'" .....
So, as it happened, in the evening the quails^ came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was dew which covered their encampment. .....
When the dew that lay on the ground was gone, behold, upon the face of barrenness there were small round things, as small droppings on the ground. .....
When the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, "Manna^!" Or, what is is it?" For they did not know what it was. So Moses suggested to them, "This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat. .....
"The Lord has commanded, 'Everyone should gather it up according to his need, an omer for everyone; according to the size of their families, every man should gather for those who dwell with him.'" .....
Now the children of Israel acted accordingly, and gathered, some more, some less. .....
Then they measured it by the omer, but he that gathered too much had nothing left over, and he that gathered too little had no lack; every man gathered it according to his need. .....
Moses instructed them, "Let no one keep it until the dawn." .....
Notwithstanding some paid no attention to Moses and left it until morning, but it bred worms and stank; so Moses admonished them. .....
Therefore they gathered it every morning, everyone according to their need, but when the light of Truth dawned brightly, it vanished. .....
So it was that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much, two omers for each Israelite, and all the congregation's rulers reported this to Moses. .....
And he replied to them, "This is the will of God, after perfecting their activity, let the people of God enter into the holy rest of the sabbath." .....
Under Moses' command, they kept the manna until the sabbath, and it did not rot. .....
Now Moses declared, "Eat that today, which is a day of rest with the Lord - this day you will not find any manna in the material field. .....
"You have enough days in which to labor, but upon realization, which corresponds to the sabbath, there is no need of material accompaniments^." .....
And it came to pass, that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, and they found none. .....
But Principle brought this question to Moses, "How long will they refuse to keep my commandments and my laws? .....
"See, the Lord has given you the rest of the sabbath, therefore, after you have perfected your resolve, the Lord gives you both the positive and negative nutrient; everyone should remain at rest^, embraced entirely by divine Mind - by the spiritual realization of the Sabbath." .....
So the people rested at the moment of complete atonement with divine Mind. .....
And the house of Israel called its nutrient manna, and it was like coriander seed, white droppings with the taste of wafers made with honey. .....
Moses said, "This is the Lord's commandment: Take a measure of the unknown and preserve it for future generations, so that they may discern the truth wherewith the almighty I-am has nurtured you in your passage from carnal sense to spiritual being, as the holy I-am led you out of a state of Egyptian hypnotism." .....
So Moses directed Aaron, in the vestibule where a magnetic sense begins to vanish, to take a full measure of the unknown, and present it to the Lord, to be unveiled in future generations. .....
As the Lord commanded Moses, so Aaron included it in a testament to be preserved. .....
And the children of Israel were sustained by the unknown forty years, until they reached a settled state; they did eat manna until they reached the limits of the land of Canaan. .....
An omer equals a tenth of a ephah. .....
