THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
Exodus 7 Exodus 7
. .
It was divinely revealed to Moses, "See, the only I-am has made you as a god before Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
"You will relate all that I have commanded of you, and by your brother Aaron it will be told Pharaoh that he must release the children of Israel from his grasp. .....
"But I must multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, hardening Pharaoh's resolve. .....
"Yet Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that I may display my power to Egypt, bringing my armies of people, the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. .....
"So when I stretch forth my power over Egypt, bringing out the children of Israel from among them, the Egyptians will know that the almighty and only I-am is the Lord." .....
Thereupon Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them. .....
Now Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron eighty-three years old, when they appeared before Pharaoh. .....
So the Lord revealed to Moses and to Aaron, .....
"When Pharaoh asks you to prove yourselves by a miracle, then you must tell Aaron, 'Take your staff^ and throw it before Pharaoh,' and it will become a serpent." .....
Then Moses and Aaron appeared before Pharaoh to do as they had been directed by the Lord. Aaron threw his staff down before Pharaoh and his officers, and it became a serpent. .....
At which Pharaoh called the wise men and the sorcerers of Egypt. Now the magicians attempted to emulate the act of Aaron with their enchantments, .....
For each magician threw down his staff, and each became a serpent, but Aaron's staff devoured their rods. .....
So, as the Lord had said, Pharaoh's heart was hardened as he payed no attention to them; .....
Then the Lord revealed to Moses, "Pharaoh's heart is hardened and he refuses to release my people. .....
"In the morning^ light, go to Pharaoh the magnetic king, and when he approaches the Nile^, wait at the threshold of the water against his approaching darkness with your staff^ in your hand. .....
"And tell him, 'The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, to insist: Release my people, that they may rather serve me in solitude. Yet, behold, heretofore you refused to listen. .....
"So this is what the Lord declares: In this you will know that the infinite I-am is the Lord; behold, according to Principle, I will subjectively smite the concepts which are in your own tendency of thought - and those concepts will appear as blood^. .....
"Those active agents moving around in the tendency of your magnetic thought will die, and that tendency of thought will become extremely offensive so that the magnetizers will avoid it, being unable to support it." .....
Now the Lord revealed to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'According to Principle, reflected power is stretched out against Egypt's tempestuous magnetic thought, against its carnal will, its reflex thought, and its manipulations, that its magnetic beliefs become refluent, showing throughout the state of magnetism that life flows not in blood^, idolized as an object of finite sense." .....
So Moses and Aaron acted as the Lord commanded, and according to Principle, before Pharaoh, and before his officers, he smote thought's flow toward magnetic beliefs, as all Pharaoh's waters in the river turned to blood. .....
Thereupon Pharaoh's active agents in the magnetic flow of thought died; while that tendency of thought offended, the Egyptians could not partake of their own mental condition; and the life blood of Egypt was threatened. .....
The magicians of darkness used their enchantments to emulate Aaron. But Pharaoh's mind was set, neither did he hearken to their request as the Lord had foretold. .....
And Pharaoh returned to his magnetic state of thought, neither was he influenced by these things. .....
So all the Egyptians dug near the river to find water to drink, since they could not drink the river water^. .....
Yet the plague lasted seven days after the tendency of magnetic thought was negated. .....
