Exodus 6 Exodus 6

. .

1 Then the Lord revealed to Moses, "Now you will see what the almighty I-am will do to Pharaoh, for by all the power at his command he will order the children of Israel from the land, driving them out. This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.

2 Furthermore, the Lord revealed to Moses, "The almighty I-am is the Lord, .....

3 "So it was the almighty I-am that appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob by the true name of God Almighty, but a Jehovistic finite ego was not known to them. .....

4 "I have also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, where their pilgrimage instructed them in a way that was strange to them. .....

5 "And I am a negation to the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptian necromancers enslave, but I do remember my covenant. .....

6 "Wherefore tell the children of Israel, 'The almighty I-am is the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the magnetism of the Egyptians to free you from their bondage, and I will save you with outstretched love, and with righteous awards. .....

7 "I will take you to me for a people, as I am your God, and you will know that I am the Lord your God when you are brought out from under animal magnetism. .....

8 "I will bring you into that state which I did swear to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and I will give it to you for an heritage, as the almighty I-am is the Lord." .....

9 So Moses spoke accordingly to the children of Israel, but they ignored him for the anguish of their spirit and for their malicious bondage. .....

10 Then the Lord revealed to Moses, .....

11 "Go in to speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt that he must let the children of Israel escape his magnetic grasp." .....

12 Now Moses prayed before the Lord, saying, "Behold, since the children of Israel have ignored me, then how will Pharaoh pay any attention to these stammering lips of mine?" .....

13 Again it was revealed to Moses and Aaron that the Lord ordered them as to the children of Israel and Pharaoh king of Egypt to demand the release of the children of Israel from the land of darkness. .....

14 The heads of Israel's tribes, including the genealogies of Israel's deliverers, are: the sons of Reuben, Israel's firstborn, Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron and Carmi. These were the elders of the tribes of Reuben. .....

15 And the sons of Simeon were Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar and Shaul, son of a woman of Canaan. These were the elders of the tribes of Simeon. .....

16 The sons of Levi were Gershon, Kohath, Merari. Levi's life span was 137 years. .....

17 The sons of Gershon were Libni, Shimi, according to their tribes. .....

18 The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel. The life span of Kobath was 133 years. .....

19 The sons of Merari were Mahali and Mushi. These are the elders of the tribes of Levi. .....

20 Now Amram married his father's sister Jochebed and she gave birth to Aaron and Moses. The life span of Amram was 137. .....

21 And Izhar's sons were Korah, Nepheg and Zichri. .....

22 And Uzziel's sons were Mishael, Elzaphan and Zithri. .....

23 And Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon. She gave birth to Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. .....

24 And the sons of Korah were Assir, Elkanah, Abiasaph. These were the elders of the tribes of Korah. .....

25 And Aaron's son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel, who gave birth to Phinehas. These are the elders of the tribes of Levi. .....

26 These are the tribes of Aaron and Moses, the same Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord revealed, "Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egyptian darkness by their tribes." .....

27 These are the same ones who came to Pharaoh, magnetic king of Egypt, and demanded that they be allowed to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. .....

28 So on the day when the Lord's revelation came to Moses in the land of Egypt, .....

29 It was clear what the Lord had instructed Moses to say, "The almighty I-am is the Lord, so Pharaoh king of Egypt, hear all that the infinite I-am has commanded." .....

30 And Moses prayed before the Lord, "Behold, I am of stammering lips, and how then will Pharaoh pay attention to me? .....
