THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION
Exodus 4 Exodus 4
. .
Moses mused, "But they will not believe me, nor obey my command, for they will say, 'The Lord has not appeared to you.'" This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
And Mind's inward voice inquired of him, "What is that in your hand?" And he replied, "A staff." .....
Then the inward voice commanded, "Cast it on the ground." So he cast it on that ground, and it became a serpent; thereupon Moses fled from it. .....
Now the inward voice showed Moses, "With your reflected power handle it by reversal." And he put forth his reflected power to catch the idea by reversal, so it returned to a staff by the power of demonstration. .....
"This may help them believe that the Mind of their fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob has appeared to you." .....
Furthermore, the inward voice of Mind revealed to him, "Put your hand against your chest." So he put his hand against his chest, and when he brought it out, his flesh was white with leprosy^. .....
Then it was revealed to return the flesh to the control of spiritual power; and by reversing the process, he found his flesh again in its normal condition. .....
Now God revealed to him, "If they will not believe you, neither accept the validity of the first sign, that they should believe the validity of the second sign. .....
"But, if they will not accept also these two signs, neither obey your voice, you can take from the tendency of thought its basic element, water, and pour it on the formations of thought, and the water will become blood^, so the elements of thought will appear alive." .....
Then Moses prayed, "O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since you revealed yourself to your servant. I am slow of speech and have an unskilled tongue." .....
Thereupon the revelation was, "Who has made man's mouth, or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the sight, or the blind?" Is it not the one Ego your I?" .....
"Now therefore go, and the almighty I-am will be with your speech, and teach you what you must say." .....
Then he prayed, "O my Lord, please send someone more suitable." .....
So Moses tasted the scorn of disobedience, and it was revealed, "Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, he is coming forth to meet you; when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. .....
"You will speak to him, and put words in his mouth, and the almighty I-am will coincide with you, and with him, and will teach you what you will do. .....
"He will be your spokesman to the people, and he, even he, will be able to express your thoughts, and you will furnish his thinking with divine thoughts. .....
"You will take this staff under your reflected power, wherewith you perform signs." .....
Moses then returned to Jethro, his father-in-law, and said to him, "Please let me go to return to my brethren which are in the darkness of Egypt, to see if they are yet alive." And Jethro replied to Moses, "Go in peace." .....
Now it was revealed to Moses in Midian, "Go, return to Egypt, for all those who sought to kill you are dead." .....
Then Moses took his wife and his sons, and put them on a donkey to return to the land of Egypt; and Moses held in his hand the staff which God had revealed. .....
Divine Mind had revealed to Moses, "When you return to Egypt, see that you perform all those wonders before Pharaoh which the almighty I-am has placed in your power; but his personal ego will harden his heart, that he will not let the people go. .....
."You must declare to Pharaoh, 'Thus states the Almighty, 'Israel is my son, even my firstborn.' .....
"And the almighty I-am declares unto you, 'Let my son go, that he may serve me; but if you refuse to let him go, the One-ego will destroy your offspring, even your firstborn.'" .....
It came to pass by the way at the inn, that the Lord revealed to him that in which he was vulnerable, and showed him how that could defeat him. .....
Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and severed the foreskin of her son, drawing near Moses' standpoint, and saying, "Surely you are a bloody bridegroom^ to me." .....
So he was freed from fleshly beliefs; then she said, "You are a bloody bridegroom, because of the severance of fleshly belief." .....
Thereupon, the Lord revealed to Aaron, "Go to the wilderness to meet Moses." And he went, meeting him at the height of Being and kissed him. .....
There Moses told Aaron all the revelation of the Lord who had sent him, and all the signs which he was commanded to perform. .....
So Moses and Aaron gathered together all the leaders of the Israelites; .....
Then Aaron explained all that the Lord had revealed to Moses, and performed the signs in the sight of the people. .....
Now the people believed, and when they realized that their Lord was with the children of Israel, and that their affliction was negated by the infinite I-am, then they made obeisance to God and worshipped. .....
