THE MELCHIZEDEK BIBLE

KING JAMES VERSION

Exodus 1 Exodus 1
. .
Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which passed into the Egyptian state of darkness - each family of Jacob with its household. This part of KING JAMES VERSION will be added later on.
Reuben^, Simeon and Levi^, Judah^, .....
Issachar^, Zebulun^, and Benjamin^, .....
Dan^, Naphtali^, Gad^ and Asher^. .....
All the children of Jacob were seventy, for Joseph^ was already in Egypt. .....
Now Joseph and all his generation died. .....
So the children of Israel were fruitful, increasing abundantly while manifesting God's power, and they became very powerful, and were ubiquitous in the land. .....
But a new king, who did not know Joseph, came to the throne of Egypt. .....
And he declared to his subjects, "Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more numerous and powerful than we. .....
"I command that we deal sharply with them, lest they continue to increase, and they might join our enemies to fight against us should any war break out, so we must nullify their power." .....
Therefore they did set over the Israelites tyrants to afflict them with slavery. And they built for Pharaoh cities of warehouses, Pithom and Raamses. .....
But the more they oppressed them, the more they increased, demonstrating their power. And they were distressed because of the presence of the children of Israel. .....
Now the necromancers of Egypt severely enslaved the tribes of Israel. .....
And the Egyptians made their lives insufferable by bitter bondage to both subjective and objective carnal thought, and to all manner of service in the field of material devotion; all their service, whereby the necromancers of Egypt enslaved them, was severe. .....
Therefore the king of Egypt ordered Shiphrah and Puah, the chiefs of the Hebrew midwives, .....
"When the services of a midwife is performed for the Hebrew women, see them at delivery, and if it is a boy, kill^ him, but if it is a girl, let her live." .....
But the midwives honored God by saving the lives of the male children and did not obey as the king of darkness had commanded them. .....
Then the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and asked them, "Why have you not obeyed me, and have saved the male children's lives?" .....
Thereupon the midwives replied to Pharaoh, "Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; they are vigorous and have delivered before the midwives reach them." .....
Therefore God blessed the midwives, and the people increased and grew mighty. .....
So it developed that because the midwives honored God, that they were given their own families. .....
Then Pharaoh charged all his people, declaring, "Every son that is born must be drowned under the necromancer's direction, and every daughter may be spared." .....
